Over the first term of our TY art class, we have been working hard at our Junk Kouture dress. It was a lot of hard work and stress and at times, I felt like giving up,although I’m glad I didn’t as it defiantly paid off in the end.
Our dress is made out of playing cards, poker chips, and dices. We named our dress “In the Hands of the Dealer” as it is in the hands of the judges. Seeing a design going from a piece of paper, to an actually dress is so fun to create. I’ve always loved the process of making it. Seeing previous years dresses has always made me want to take part in the competition.
On the 3rd of February is when we entered our dress so we can hope for the best now. On the 30th of January we took our photos and these are some of our pictures.
