On the 6th of October, my TY and some mentors in 5th year, went to Dublin for the Ireland vs Georgia match. We left at 11am and went on the road to Dublin. We first stopped off at Blanchardstown to get food and do a bit of shopping.
Once arriving at the Aviva it was packed with supporters. As it was my first time at a match it was very overwhelming.when arriving in our seats the atmosphere was amazing. We were dressed in green and painted our face to support our team, Ireland.
The game began and the chants and singing was heard from every corner of the stadium. Not only was there loads of singing there was the Mexican wave also. I hope that there will be another trip away, like this away as it was throughly enjoyable!!
